Meetings
May 22nd, We're giving away an Adobe $2100 software package
This month’s meeting date has changed to the 4th Thursday. Our group manager, Steve Farwell, will be away for our normally scheduled 3rd Thursday of the month. He has promised that the date change will be worth it.
To make it even more exciting we’ve decided to raffle off a $2100 software package from Adobe to one lucky winner. As always, you must be present to win. So clear you’re calendar and get ready for some fun with your fellow CFer’s
We'll also be discussing best practices and resources in the Coldfusion community.
We will resume our normal 3rd Thursday of the month in June.
April 17th, Google Maps API by Scott Bennett
The Google Maps API lets you embed Google Maps in your own web pages with JavaScript. The API provides a number of utilities for manipulating maps (just like on the http://maps.google.com web page) and adding content to the map through a variety of services, allowing you to create robust maps applications on your website.
The Google Maps API is a free beta service, available for any web site that is free to consumers.
Scott will be making a Google Map custom tag in Coldfusion. You can download the custom tags from his site http://www.coldfusionguy.com
